Toni Lisa Brown has masters’ degrees in both speech pathology and interior architecture and design. She has worked extensively with autistic and special needs children. She also worked in residential and commercial design for several years. As a para-legal, she worked in Harlem, New York for four years.

Toni Lisa started mastering her writing skills as a young girl through diaries and journals. In the mid 1980’s, she devoted her professional life to writing, and in 1993 her first book was published.

Ms. Brown also expresses her creativity through photography, painting, custom beaded jewelry, and performing her written work.
